The detrimental deception of today’s church is the assumption that all of its members have been born again. The emphasis of a Gospel presentation must be included in the regular workings of the church.
To preach without extending an invitation is unfortunate and irresponsible.
To perform outreach efforts without sharing the Gospel is a waste of time, effort, and resources.
To proclaim God’s works in your life without inviting others to allow Him to perform the same work in them is unfortunate.
A Gospel emphasis and invitation must be the foundation upon which all of the church’s workings are developed. Disciple the believers and evangelize to the unbelievers. Assumptions are detrimental. Proclaiming the cross of Jesus Christ never gets outdated or overly emphasized.
John 3:3 - “In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”
