At Spencer Bell Ministries, our goal is not to be inwardly focused on the needs of our own ministry, but rather to be outwardly focused. We believe that God calls all believers to share the Gospel, and, although the primary emphasis of our evangelistic ministry is to spread that Gospel, we do understand that it is an impossible task to accomplish alone. Therefore, we have partnered with several ministries by pledging our finances, time, and resources for the benefit of God's Kingdom. In the coming months, you will see the benefit of our ministry, both domestic and abroad, as we partner with other ministries to fulfill the Great Commission.
G.R.A.C.E. Ministries
Guatemala Relief and Compassion Effort
G.R.A.C.E. Ministries, initiated by Friendship Baptist Church in the late 1990's, is a ministry which focuses on reaching the lost people of Guatemala, ministering to impoverished believers, and providing food and education to children who are unable to receive the equivalent education of those who live in larger cities with wealthier families.
S.L.A.M. Ministries
Shining Light Abroad Ministries
S.L.A.M. Ministries ministers to the people of Guatemala, providing food, education, and meeting basic needs of the children of Guatemala near Chimaltenango and surrounding areas. Partnering with G.R.A.C.E. Ministries, Soy and Deidra Taylor greatly impact the families which they meet, have changed lives through the work of Christ, and have fulfilled just what their name implies, shining the light of Christ upon the Guatemalan people.
International Missions Association
The International Missions Association exists to see the lost come to faith in Jesus Christ. Through ministries in Guatemala, El Salvador, Philippines, and other countries, their mission remains the same, witnessing thousands of conversions and professions of faith at their events. Their founder, Bro. Johnny Tucker, is a vocational evangelist based in Citronelle, AL who maintains a filled speaking schedule in addition to the organization.
Michael Mason Ministries
Michael Mason Ministries is an evangelistic ministry located in Hartselle, Alabama, founded in the mid 1990's by Dr. Michael L. Mason. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for SBM, but he also fulfills a ministry of his own. Faithfully proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world, he fulfills his ministry's mission "Taking the message of the cross to the world". Both Michael and his wife Dawn maintain a filled speaking schedule of couple's retreats in addition to Michael's evangelism schedule.
The Southern Baptist Convention
SBC
The Southern Baptist Convention is an organization comprised of autonomous churches who affirm and adhere to The Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and believe in cooperation for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through organizations like the North American Mission Board, the International Mission Board, Guidestone Financial Resources, 6 Theological Seminaries, Baptist colleges and various other organizations under the SBC, the main mission of the convention is to fulfill the Great Commission. Although SBM reaches across multiple denominations, we affiliate ourselves with the SBC, partnering with SBC churches and pastors to fulfill the Great Commission because of the Great Commandment.
The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions
ALSBOM
The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions is an Alabama based organization affiliated with the Southern Baptist convention, comprised of Southern Baptist churches and entities in Alabama who partner together to fulfill the Great Commission. Also known as the Alabama Baptist State Convention, this organization seeks to partner and assist all churches in Alabama in connection with the SBC. Meeting needs, providing resources, and training leaders are areas which the ALSBOM excels. Our ministry partners with many through the ALSBOM.
Morgan Baptist Association
MBA
The Morgan Baptist Association is an association of approximately 70 Southern Baptist Churches in Morgan County, Alabama. Given that Spencer Bell Ministries is a Southern Baptist evangelistic ministry, we feel compelled to partner with other Southern Baptists around our county to fulfill the Great Commission. Their mission statement is "Churches serving together in missions and ministries, grateful for the past, celebrating the present, focused on the future." Through ministries such as Disaster Relief, The Caring Place, The Ministry Training Institute, Pastor's Conference, Pastor's Encouragement Network, and various church health and development strategies, we believe the MBA has much to offer as it equips churches and members to fulfill the Great Commission because of the Great Commandment.
